Camberley grew out of open heath in the 1800s, first as Yorktown beside the Royal Military College and then as Cambridge Town near the Staff College, before the Post Office renamed it in 1877. The town still sits on the sandy Bagshot Beds, and the Scots pines that once gave it a reputation for healthy air are everywhere: along the roads, in back gardens and fringing the heath. They look wonderful, but they drop needles, resin and pollen all year, and that is the single biggest reason Camberley gutters block, roofs green over and patios stain faster than in more open towns.
The housing is unusually mixed for one town. Around St Michael's and the older streets off the London Road you find Victorian and Edwardian villas with slate or clay roofs and timber sash windows. Old Dean was built in the 1950s, Heatherside is largely 1970s and 1980s family estates, and Frimley, Watchetts and Crawley Hill mix detached homes with newer infill. Add sandy soil that blows and washes onto paving, shady plots under mature trees, and traffic film from the A30 and M3, and each property needs a slightly different approach. We tailor the method to the house rather than running one routine across the town.

Which exterior cleaning services do you offer in Camberley?
Four: window cleaning (regular 6-weekly rounds or one-off cleans), gutter cleaning and repairs, roof cleaning and repairs, and jet washing or soft washing for driveways, patios, render and cladding. Many Camberley customers combine a roof clean with a gutter clear, since moss and pine needles end up in the same place.
My house is surrounded by tall pines. Is that a problem for you?
Not at all, it is normal in Camberley. Our water-fed poles and gutter vacuum both work from the ground, so we can reach glass and gutters behind trees without leaning ladders against branches or walls. We will point out any overhanging limbs that are feeding moss or needles onto the roof so you can decide whether to have them cut back.
